Procurement Scope

Medical use changes the quality and responsibility questions.

Battery selection begins with the device’s electrical load and mechanical interface, then adds charging, alarm behavior, traceability, cleaning exposure, service strategy and the regulatory responsibility held by the finished-device manufacturer.

We do not claim that every reference battery is approved for every medical device or market. A pouch cell, smart battery or wheelchair pack is evaluated only after the actual device and target-market requirements are identified.

Direct answer: Send the device description, voltage, runtime/load, maximum envelope, connector and pinout, charging method, communication, environmental conditions, quantity and required quality documents.
Factory Reference Range

Start from a real configuration, then confirm the project version.

Reference models demonstrate available form factors and engineering experience. Current drawings, component revisions, documentation, MOQ and delivery terms are reconfirmed before quotation.

Selection Logic

Connect battery design to the finished device.

01

Device requirements

Define intended use, load, runtime, alarms, charging, service and foreseeable environmental exposure.

02

Pack architecture

Select chemistry, cell platform, protection, communication, enclosure and interfaces around the device.

03

Verification plan

Agree electrical, mechanical, environmental and communication checks on the actual sample configuration.

04

Supply control

Define traceability, approved parts/configuration, inspection, documentation and change notification.

Specification Matrix

What we confirm before supply.

ApplicationMedical cart, wheelchair, monitor or another professional device; intended use must be identified.
ElectricalVoltage, capacity/runtime, continuous and pulse current, charge method, alarms and state reporting.
MechanicalEnvelope, mounting, connector/pinout, cable, handling, cleaning and service access.
QualityTraceability, acceptance criteria, validation support, change control and model-specific documents.
Regulatory boundaryThe finished-device manufacturer or responsible party determines system-level compliance; battery documents do not approve the full device.
FAQ

Questions purchasing teams ask.

Are these batteries certified for my medical device?

Certification and documentation depend on the exact battery configuration, device, intended use and market. We confirm model-level evidence and the responsibility split during review.

Can you make a custom medical pouch battery?

Pouch-based designs can be evaluated when space, load, protection and supply conditions are defined. Availability and compliance are never assumed from the word “pouch.”

Do you support smart battery communication?

SMBus or other communication can be reviewed for suitable projects. The host protocol, commands, authentication and lifecycle support must be defined.
